Expressions of interest (EOIs) for Volunteer Grants 2024-2025 are now open!
Grants between $1,000 and $5,000 are available to support volunteers of not-for-profit organisations.
To be eligible to apply, more than 40% of your staff must be volunteers and all funding sought must directly benefit your organisation's volunteers.
There are now two categories for Volunteer Grants which reflect areas of high demand for volunteer organisations:
- Category 1: for communications and IT items (such as laptops, phones, payment devices and software), and paying for insurance premiums.
- Category 2: for items and services that support the development and well-being of children and young people under 18.
These changes mean Volunteer Grant funding will be more targeted to where it is needed most.
The Volunteer Grants will fund volunteer organisations for costs associated with any activity helping and supporting children and young people under 18, to help with the costs of modernising their operations and to cover key costs, including insurance premiums and internet bills.
How to submit your expression of interest:
- Confirm your organisation is based with the Division of Pearce
- Carefully read the Grant Opportunity Guidelines here to confirm your organisation and project are eligible.
- Complete the Expression of Interest form below or download this form, fill out and return to [email protected]
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) close at 5pm Friday 17 January 2025.
The first stage of this grant process is expression of interest (EOI) only. Successful EOI applicants will be notified after 1 February 2025. They will then be invited to lodge a formal application with the Department.
