Yanchep Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

I am excited to announce the new Yanchep Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will be operated by the Lagoon Medical Centre, delivering free and easier access to high-quality healthcare. Our Government promised this new clinic for our community at the election and I am proud we are delivering it.

The clinic will be open seven days a week with extended hours and will be fully bulk billed, meaning you will not pay a cent when you need urgent care. The clinic will be located at 15 Ikara Lane, making it a convenient and accessible option for local families in Two Rocks, Yanchep, Eglinton, and nearby surrounding suburbs. The clinic is on track to open by the end of February 2026 – my social media accounts will remain updated with the opening date.

This new service fills an important gap for our fast-growing community, offering vital health services particularly after hours and on weekends. It will provide a local option for urgent but non-life-threatening care, reducing the need for residents to travel to the Clarkson Medicare Urgent Care Clinic or attend the Joondalup Hospital Emergency Room. This will help ease pressure on our hospitals while ensuring you can access quality care, closer to home, when it matters most.

I was proud to work alongside Lorna Clarke MLA, State Member for Butler, who jointly advocated with me to secure the funding and delivery of this Medicare Urgent Care Clinic for Yanchep. This collaborative effort reflects Labor’s shared commitment to ensuring our rapidly growing community has access to the healthcare services it needs.

The Yanchep Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is another example of the Albanese Labor Government’s commitment to building Australia’s future with the largest investment in Medicare in over 40 years, and to have Medicare funded to support all Australians, in every community.
